Reach out in the darkness
“…..I think it’s so groovy now
That people are finally getting together
Reach out in the darkness….
And you may find a friend
I knew a man that I did not care for
And then one day this man gave me a call
We sat and talked about things on our mind
And now this man he is a friend of mine
Reach out in the darkness…… And you may find a friend
Don’t be afraid of love…..
Everybody needs a little love
Everybody needs somebody
That they can be thinking of
So reach out!
Reach out in the darkness….. And you may find a friend
I think it’s so groovy now
That people are finally getting together
I thinks it’s wonderful and how
That people are finally getting together…….”

I am now more than ever shocked how backwards we’ve come. Why don’t we fire the ones who went against the way this song goes? The love we’ve grown to know as Father’s is so wasted. Yes, all are fully accepted, and see life on the other side, but so many live in fear here and now! Afraid to speak out against the pinched and judging ones, the ones that seem to (on TV) have it all together, so many just throw in he towel on closeness, hapiness and reaching out to others because someone might condemn them. The truth is when we reach out in the dark, someone smiles, and lights the way. I want to do that more. I want to move on to living this song again. I really like how open I was in the 70′s, ready to embrace each new thing, new person, and I knew that “everybody needs a little Love”. I saw people “finally gettin’ together”, and I see in this re-establishment of Father’s Love a reaching out again. It’s good to be groovy…
